Lobster 9/10 (brought down to the crazy price but still 100% amazing) guys no bueno on price. Regardless of the price it was VERY delicious.Įverything else was moderately priced and the milk tea was delicious. We expected it to be in line with other restaurants who have lowered the price to be in line with the market value. I purchased it, regardless of my friends saying I was crazy for spending that much. I wanted to try the dish as I had heard so much about it.

I was just shocked at how much the lobster was. I felt as though considering you can purchase one, same size and all at Woolies for 20-30$ the price here was far too inflated.Ī beautiful flavour, no doubt about it. Last star I couldn’t give due to the extremely outdated price mark up on the lobster dish at 180$ Recommended for group gatherings and nights out.Ģ for the lovely little complimentary dessert Overall, we were very happy with the food and experience. It was a little noisy as there were a few groups dining at the same time so it's not the place for a quiet conversation. The decor is nice creating a nice atmosphere. Friendly but not over bearing, fast and efficient (just like in Singapore). The milk tea comes with a cute frozen bear on top but is in more a Thai style milk tea. The okra dish was something new for me and it was also very good. We only tried the mild level but I am keen to go back to they the spicier versions. The fish head curry is the most authentic I have tried since leaving Singapore. The roast duck was generously portions and done very well. This time around we tried the roast duck on rice, fish head curry, okra with fried scallions and our friends tried the teddy bear milk tea.

When I saw they had fish head curry, I was very excited and it did not disappoint. It is hidden away in one of Chinatown's many laneways and is a hidden gem.
